Eggs, Toast & Tomatoes

  • 2 eggs, overeasy
  • 1 piece of whole wheat toast
    • Spread on almond butter or peanut butter
    • 1/2 a banana, sliced
    • Put sliced banana on top of peanut butter
    • Sprinkle cinnamon on top
  • 6 Cherry Tomatoes, sliced
This is a great meal to eat on leg day! It is loaded with protein.

Snack of the Day

Lemon Pepper Chicken & Rice

  • 1 boneless skinless chicken breast
    • Marinate with the following:
    • 1 tbsp of Smart Butter
    • 1 tsp of garlic
    • 1/2 of a lemon (squeeze into mixture)
    • A pinch of pepper
    • A pinch of red pepper flakes
    • Grill the chicken and brush on mixture (You can also marinate chicken in marinade overnight.)
  • Rice or Quinoa
    • Season with your favorite, just avoid salt. I also like to add veggies to mine.
  • Broccoli
    • If you don't add veggies to your rice or quinoa, it's good to make sure you have a veggie as a side.

Veggies & Greek Yogurt Dip

  • 1 red pepper, sliced into strips
  • 1-2 cups of fresh broccoli
  • Greek Yogurt Dip
    • My personal favorite is Otria Greek Yogurt Veggie Dip Garden Herb Ranch or French Onion.

I'm not selling anything

It seems like everyone is selling something on social media these days. I will start off by saying that I'm not selling anything except a way for you to better yourself. No wraps, no pills, no fads, just hard work.

Have you ever wanted something really bad and you'd basically do anything to get it? That's how you need to think about your health and fitness. If it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you.

We all have a vision of how we want ourselves to look; but, sometimes it's tough to get to that point. That's why it's important to set small goals to reach one big goal. Change doesn't happen overnight! It takes time, dedication and effort. You didn't put on unwanted weight in 30 days, so it's not going to come off in 30 days. When you decide to commit to something 100% you will get results.

We've all heard that it takes between 21 and 28 days to make or break a habit. Getting into a routine is a really important part of getting fit and healthy!

You are NOT going to get fit or lose weight by starving yourself! Eating clean is where you should start; fruits, veggies, protein, etc. WATER!!

I can't think of how many times I've set a goal to do something, stuck with it for a week or so, then just stopped. It's so easy to do! We're busy! We have families, friends, jobs, and events to attend.

So, here's what I'm selling; I'm creating a group to motivate you! It's so much easier to succeed when someone else is holding you accountable. I'm going to hold you accountable! I will offer advice, recipes, and even a way for you to check in and share your progress!

If you truly want to make a change in your life, I want to help!

Here's the  Facebook Group. If you have any questions just send me a message on Facebook, send me an email at darasfitnessmotivation@gmail.com or leave me a comment.

Have a great day!
